It depends :) If your guest has more than one dasd then you have to flash copy them all in a consistency group... Even if you will use a consistency group you have to keep in mind your copy will only be crash consistent (that is as if the guest had a power failure).
On top of that you need to make sure that your application supports crash consistency (not all of them do). Other than that the answer is yes you can...
