There was a presentation this past year (IBM Webinar?) where an installation 
hammered on several different filesystem types to prove their worth. From what 
I remember, BTRFS didn't fare well (but that's all I can remember...).

Does anyone have a less hazy memory or have the slide presentation - it was 
probably embedded in a 'Linux on z' update .
