Note that this _optional_ feature was introduced with the zEC12 and zBC12, so 
you have to be using one of those, or a z13.  (The new LinuxONE systems are 
re-branded z13 and zBC12 systems, so they will also have the option to have the 
feature installed.)

Linux support for the zEDC was introduced with SLES12.  Not sure when Red Hat 
included it, but it was probably RHEL 7.0.
