When SLES11 SP3 was under development, I questioned the inclusion of trousers
on System z. The response I got from IBM (who requested it) was:
"trousers should be shipped across all architectures. The library component of
trousers the ability to communicate with daemons running on remote machines and
also contain routines useful without connecting to a daemon, so even platforms
that currently don't have TPMs will benefit."
