For a virtual NIC on a VSWITCH, z/VM will respond to the qdio driver's qeth_query_card_info() call with "10Gb fibre running full duplex at 10 gb/s", regardless of physical connectivity. z/VM does not support the driver's qeth_query_oat_command() call.
