For z14, you DO need to update (rewrite) anything that can be loaded from
the HMC.  This includes SAPL (use SALIPL to update *after* you have
installed the service) and stand alone dump.  Also make sure the correct
versions (latest levels) of the modules on the parm disk (MAINT CF1) that
can be loaded by SAPL.  The normal 6.3 versions of any of these aren't
usable on a z14.

And, of course, you do all of this "dynamically", that is after you've
installed the new support and before you move the system.
