I have tried all combinations including  /software/RHEL/ and  still no Joy.
Its not only this Directory but for any directory, my IP trace shows

Req: NLST /software/RHEL/.
Rsp: 550 No data sets found.

FTP ERROR 550 could be Permission Denied or No such file or folder, I
do not have any message in my zOS FTPSERVER Log. Thinking of starting
FTP server trace.

Could it be  because our HMC is in Management layer and sits behind
firewall while zOS is in different network.
