Not much enhancements there, though.. the fact of a day contains only 24 hours
has been a severe
limiting factor during my last working years..
Btw, I always compile my Xymon servers - installs and upgrades, nothing special
on zLinux there.
Xymon base OSS product is currently maintained by Japheth Cleaver, afaik. Maybe
discussions about
Xymon deployment methods would be more useful in Xymon's own discussion list:

We use Xymon a great deal, it monitors all of our servers and network equipment
(several thousand items). We run the server on zLinux (SLES) and the client
runs just about anywhere. There are even clients for z/VM and z/OS (thanks
Rich!). Its all PhP based, so I don't think an RPM is necessary. (I haven't
done the install in a long time, someone else in our group does that.) Its
definitely not specific to any version of Linux. As long as you have Apache
and PhP installed, it should run on Clef.
