Hi, I implemented Openstack with a mixed architecture with x86 and s390x using Openstack-ansible. You can find a lot of information here: https://docs.openstack.org/openstack-ansible/queens/
I used x86 for controller nodes and s390x for compute. All the nodes are running Ubuntu. But could you provide some more information on what you want to achieve? A mixed x86 and s390x enviroment? Are you planning to use zVM or KVM as a hypervisor? Also which Linux distributions are available to you?
