Isn't a firewall blocking access to the FTP server?

You should move everything from the DVD to the ftp server (or let the
ftp server provide the whole ISO mounted somewhere). The installer
looks for some internal files and looks for the paths to the rest of
the content there. It tries to find ${inst.repo}/.treeinfo
