Is there anyone who have attempted to install redhat from windows instead

Just wanted to understand your experience ? If this is doable or not ?

You may have more luck installing from a HTTP source. IIS is pretty awful, but
it should be able to supply the files if prepared correctly. There is a section
in the docs on what files have to be where and how you need to handle filename
cases, etc.

If you can boot your Intel machine from USB or DVD, there are a number of
bootable Linux images that work well and don't involve installing on the local
disk of your Intel box. That may prove to be a lot less grief in the long run.
