Best recommendation: Enable 'openssh' on the server, install an SSH
client on the remote system, and use sftp to transfer materials. Plan to
adjust server-side firewall rules if the system is not already enabled
for SSH connections.
Less-than-best: On my SLES15 system, via YaST, it looks as if vsftpd is
installed by default. I see multiple options for adding an FTP server
to SLES 15 -- proftpd and pure-ftpd among them. Plan to do some amount
of configuration to make the inbound FTP server available -- details
vary according to choice of server, and prior choices about server
firewall rules.
Or... go with plan 'A': Adjust server-side configuration and firewall
rules as needed, then use sftp.

I need to upload a file to SuSE 15.1. FTP is not installed and I can't find
a client / server in the repos (installation materials). what is the name
of the ftp? client or server, I don't care.
