Looking at the mailing list archives, the first mention I could find for
this was from David Boyes on February 21, 2000:
"... I have successfully (albeit slowly) booted NT Server 4.x (Intel)
under bochs on L/390, and successfully run MS Exchange for Intel
straight off the BackOffice CDs for a trivial number of users. "

Then, on September 11, 2002, Adam Thornton posted this link to an image
of Windows NT running on a Linux guest on z/VM:

When the snapshot was taken, they were using Dave Jones' Multiprise. I
can't recall if it was a Multiprise 2000 or 3000.
