Hello, I am almost sure I've done this before but now my memory is failing me The virtual machine had a "MACHINE ESA 8" and a list CPU 00...07 We changed it to MACHINE ESA 10 and added 2 more cpus to the list
Unfortunately I can't simply re-logon the VM. I was sure that after updating the userdirectory it will allow me to define cpu from the linux guest but it doesn't I am getting HCPCPU1458E, attempt was made to define more CPUs than it is allowed in directory Any way to workaround this? My first thought was running set machine esa 10 but the command doesn't take the mcpu number like the directory statement ... thank you Gregory ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www2.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
