Not on Z, no. Since z/VM only support native FCP as the client side, the FCP adapter on the receiving side has to be capable of accepting an inbound FCP "open" request. IBM Z FCP adapters don't support that capability. You might be able to do it on a non-Z platform, but that's where you would need the moral equivalent of the SAN Volume Controller.
