Well, we have had some SLES10 machines running on a z13, though those were already 64 bit machines. By that time we've already moved out of SLES9. Given that the z13 still supports ESA/390 you might run SLES9 in there. But no guarantee. We did have some problems with SLES10 SP4 on a z13 but (luckily) no issues with SLES10 SP2.
