I am not aware of a good resource for your question. The challenge is hardly no one knows the virtualization methods on x86 and the virtualization methods on IBM Z (or Power) in enough detail to contrast them. Typically one knows one or two of them in detail, but seldom all of them. The other challenge is these aren't static systems, everyone is making enhancements and some of the comparisons out there are for a point in time, or in some cases IBM in 1990 compared to x86 in 2020 (as if the mainframe hasn't changed). Sorry I don't have better pointers.
