Hercules Version 3.13
That is pretty old. You might want to do a git clone from
https://github.com/sdl-hercules-390/hyperion and build your own package.
Host system is openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240803. Given your comment, is that
my problem?
I wouldn't go that far, just yet. But if the newer version of hyperion
doesn't work for you, then you might want to give it a try.
