Hey all, I just released a current paper describing the process for
- defining FCP devices - configuring NPIV on them - zoning them to the correct storage ports in the SAN using modern Peer or Smart zones - configuring a storage volume on a FlashSystem storage unit - and lastly: verifying all the above is correct using the SAN Explorer utility on the HMC With Lots of images showing the HMC UI I did not get into Linux OS or z/VM setup in here, its all LPAR hardware enablement based.
