Hello All, If you are attending the VM Workshop (that nowadays also includes z/VSE) and didn't see this message on the VM list, we are inviting people to share their PGP public key. So please bring your own key and help build out the ZTRUST community.
For more information on ZTRUST, please find more information on https://github.com/openmainframeproject/wg-ztrust. Kind Regards, Berry. -------- Doorgestuurd bericht -------- Onderwerp: PGP keys and PKI certs at the workshop Datum: Sun, 31 May 2026 16:28:56 -0400 Van: Rick Troth <[email protected]> Antwoord-naar: The IBM z/VM Operating System <[email protected]> Aan: [email protected] Howdy folks! VM Workshop is next week, June 10 through 12. Here's hoping you'll be there! Brian Hugenbruch and I will be presenting ZTRUST on Friday morning. If you are attending, and you have a PGP public key, please bring a printed copy of your "fingerprint". I will do the same. Paper may seem low tech, but it's highly tamper-evident and thus is ideal for this kind of thing. If you have a PKI root cert (that is, if you're running an in-house CA) that issues "leaf" certs the rest of us might encounter, it would be good to have that too. (The cert, but electronically, not on paper.) The ZTRUST project is collecting PGP keys (signed by Z community members) and PKI root certs (signed using PGP) to grow the community trust anchor. We'll be discussing how and why *your* key helps. -- -- R; <>< ############################ To unsubscribe from the IBMVM list: write to:mailto:[email protected] or click the following link: http://listserv.uark.edu/scripts/wa-UARKEDU.exe?SUBED1=IBMVM&A=1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www2.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
