I am exagerating a bit. The main problem was that it generated so many
errors that I could not get it to tell me anything useful. I suspect that
htis is largely due to the bad state of the header files. I have used lint
to good effect on other projects, but could not get very far with elks.
If anyone with more experience of lint could write some useful lint rules
for the Makefiles I would b more than glad to include them and use them.
