Most elks releases include an images.zip file which includes images for a
boot disk (effectively just a kernel image), a root disk which requires the
boot disk, and a combined disk which uses the minix fs bootloader to load
the kernel. The disk is quite stable. I keep an ELKS system running all the
time, and have had it run for several days sometimes.

Beta testers are always very welcome. See what you can make ELKS do. If you
download the development environment dev86, then you will be able to try
new stuff out by compiling it with bcc.

Please report back to the list including information about any software you
can get to work.
