I don't _think_ so... there's another mailing list (haven't taken
the time to sign up) and there have been new releases from Al every so
often.  Part of it is that Alan had to 'lock down' www.linux.org.uk (for
good reason.  It would be pretty bad if someone got into the site and
hacked the network - not to mention Alan's diary, saying something like 'I
reconsidered that job offer from Microsoft and took it'... that would
cause a bit of a stir on Slashdot :)

        GPLed projects rarely truly die anyway.  It's not like Coherent
where things more or less died after MWC closed up shop, the code's still
out there and even if nobody was working on it someone could pick it up again.
