I don't think you'd be able to get ELKS to work properly on the Omnigo. I used to have an Omnigo 100 before the screen broke (later this week, I should have my new 200LX, though). The Omnigo's keyboard isn't standard, so it would need to be remapped for most of the keys to work, especially the important ones, like backspace, semi-colon, etc... Additionally, the LCD is about half the size of a regular CGA screen in viewing size, so you would need to have a utility that would allow you to pan the screen to view the full 24*80 char (in text mode). It's not a bad unit, but I think that the 200LX might be more standard (then again, I could be wrong). Oh, and for RAM cards, you're not really supposed to use FLASH on the Omnigo, but some people have been succesful doing it. I was only able to get SRAM cards to work.
