There is no such thing as "normal" operation on C128.
Either you run the built in (always built in) Z80 or
the built in 65XX processor. Nothing very magic. Just choose
a processor and start executing code.

And a C64 too.
I tried it a few years ago on C64 emulator on an Amiga.
Could start three processes, then it hang. :-)
