It seems that getting compilers for some of these machines is not the 
easyest task, I have looked at forth as a way of implimenting an OS and 
believe it could be worth it since some have also voiced a way of 
building withing the OS itself...

Having a Mac and an obsession with running a small OS, I have taken a 
look at forth as a way to do it.
