AFAIK it is good if you do this. It is so that the head(s) won't
hit the disk surface when moving the drive.
(This only applies to disks with a stepper (motor), as old XT disks have.
Newer disks have "voice coil" instead and they automatically returns
to a safe position when power fails.)

If no one ports this utility to ELKS, I guess XT drive users just
have to be very careful when moving the computer/disk.
