ELKS 0.0.77 has been released and is available from the usual main sites:-

        ftp://ftp.ecs.soton.ac.uk/pub/elks/elks-0.0.77/
        ftp://linux.mit.edu/pub/ELKS/kernel/elks-0.0.77/

This release consists of the following files:

        elks-0.0.77.tar.gz - Kernel source
elks-0.0.77.patch.gz - Source code patch for kernel code
        elkscmd-0.0.77.tar.gz - Userland source
        images.zip - Disk images
System.map.gz - System map for compiled kernel

This release does not contain a pathc for the elkscmd package as the patch
generated was too large.

The updates to the kernel in this release are centered around fixes
required to get Greg Haerr's port of nano-X to run under ELKS. These
updates include fixes for select(2), non-blocking tty I/O, and termios
baud rate control for serial ports. Code has alse been added to the console
driver to disable VC switching when we are in graphics mode.

Support has been added for signals generated by the interrupt and stop
keys (typically ^C and ^Z).

A large number of programs have been added to the elkscmd package, so many
so that I can't list them all here. Please look through the package to see
what has been added and try it out. Most of the code in elkscmd works at
least under elksemu.

Please try this version out including as much of the elkscmd package as you
are interested in. Please report any bugs to the main mailing list as
usual.
