FYI:

AMD Elan has a much higher cost to factor into your selling price
equations. 

I have also heard rumors that the product being shipped is not of
consistent quality levels. However, have not seen it personally for
myself, just a comment from two different folks who are working on
prototype board development with AMD Elan as core.
