Without knowing exactly to whom have I to send and or request
information, I submit you following remarks; hopping that it will be
helpful:

As I just recompile elks and elkscmd (together referenced -0.0.78) to
create a combine image to try on an old "portable" Toshiba T1600 (cpu
Intel 80286, 712Kb of RAM, 40Mb of HD) when the system boot it tells me
"ELKS 0.0.77" against the "image.zip" which well contains a system "ELKS

0.0.78". Is it not strange <:)?

May be is it why have I to comment out system call "setsid()" into
elkscmd/sysutils/init.c and elkscmd/minix2/lpd.c?

I just remember that in elkscmd also, I had to add "-IMyElksDir/include"

in CFL... variables of Make.defs to reach to compile it; but may be is
it a problem of environment.

In elks-0.0.78 (actual 77) I also have to change -Iinclude with
-I../../include into Makefile into elks/arch/i86 but this problem should

already be corrected in actual 0.0.78?

Enjoy,
    Joel

PS:
About "Dev86src-0.14.9.tar.gz" (or what else release) I reach to
recompile application with a Linux kernel 2.0.x but not with 2.2.x once.

May be can you advice me of your experience of the subject?
