How do you make it go away? it doesn't seem to do anything, i've tried this on several block devices (floppy, a 20Mb disk partition, a 5Mb disk partition etc) but it doesn't do anything (regardless of the status of the partiton, elks says that it's not clean). the -f flag doesn't help either... btw. i've had problems with tar xf unpacking an archive of the elks root disk, it allways hangs the system, will look into it later... jacek
