what are you talking about?  RedHat, Pentium?  this is the linux-8086 mailing
list, meant for pre-80386 machines and true XT clones.

If you're interested, I've got a spare Philips NMS9100 here, it has a 5.25
inch drive plus a more modern 3.5 inch drive, no network, no hard disk.  I
think it is built around a true 8086.  it should be able to run the
ELKS kernel 0.0.81 out of the box.
