One thing I haven't been able to figure out (and which
probably should be included in a forthcoming newbie
help file) is how to create a second (or third or
fourth) primary partition of a specific size using
ELKS fdisk. I can create the partition without any
problem, but how do I figure out how big it is in MB
simply from the sector information ELKS fdisk
displays?

Currently I am having to use dos fdisk to create a 32
mb primary partition, then reboot to the ELKS disks
and go through the fdisk -> mkfs -> root file system
creation process that way. I find this to be
inconvenient, especially since my system keeps farting
out during the "cp /foo/bar /mnt/foo/bar" process
(giving me all kinds of inode errors and whatnot),
forcing me to reboot again and again. (I still
haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong or what the
problem with my setup is, and I haven't been able to
successfully install the root fs to my HD yet).

So is there some standardized way to figure out MB
information from sectors? Is it HD specific?

Gracias,

Matt Balaun
