Well, I have some suggestions to propose.
I ran the last 5 days without any problem in console, rather than in X
with 2xseti + ecdl. (load >= 3 all the time)
The system crashed only today due to a use of the SCSI subsystem, and
I wonder whether it's during a rmmod or not (no trace of course).
Do all the people who have problems run with one of these configuration :
- under X
or
- with kernel and/or SCSI modules
and
- with heavy load
Because I think the system is stable with heavy load, no use of X, no
use of SCSI, for my case (more than 5 days, instead of less than 3 days
under X what ever I did)
I already had crash when trying to rmmod the aic7xxx module. So I think
there may be a link, or a way to reproduce the problem there.
(Cf /etc/cron.d/kmod on RH 6.x)

Greetings to all,
