I was having problems with the bp6 in xwin locking up after
about 30 min. I had to shut off power to reboot . On
rebooting my partition file system was scrambled. I moved my
sound card from slot 3 to slot 1 on the PCI bus and
everything works perfectly now under normal working usage. I
will be trying this out under a
load now, probably seti. The cpu temps are even running
cooler 91/96 compared to 110/115 earlier. Any
card in slot 3 must share with the highpoint controller and
even though the sound card should have it wasn't.
