Greetings,

I have two hard drivers connected to IDE 3 on the BP6 motherboard, a 28.5 gig and a
13.6 gig. I had to do a reinstall of Mandrake 7.0 air (before this I had the drives
on IDE 1 and 2, and had not attempted to get ata/66 support), so I decided to try
HPT66 support. Basically it seems to work in single proc mode, but when I boot off
the SMP kernel it says "kernel panic, can not mount file system" -- something along
those lines..

my question is what is the best way (or how) to setup my system with HPT66 support? I
have to do another install so I have nothing to lose.. any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks
