Proving the statement in subject is far easier than proving its negation:
I had one such lockup this morning (machine emitting a deep beep sound,
X frozen, so no keyboard). In the logs (remote syslog server), I had a
series of:
Apr 24 04:34:55 nice kernel: stuck on TLB IPI wait (CPU#0)
and an oops.
The uptime I managed to obtain with QQ was 24 days, and a few hours.
Exactly as big as some of the uptimes I had before I flashed QQ.
Sorry, QQ bios is NOT the answer, the BP6 is an unreliable piece of
hardware, OR the 2.2.14 kernel has a subtle bug that only appears
on my system.
