Rock solid with Logitech 3-button PS/2 mouse M/N M-CQ38 P/N 811188-01.
X 3.3.6 + xcfe. Kernel 2.2.16, then 2.2.17, then 2.2.18 + Win4Lin
patches. Running 2 instances SETI@Home. 2 x 64MB SDRAM DIMMs, sb32 awe
isa, devices on both ATA33 (std) IDE interfaces (no HPT66). PCI setup:

Dev 11: LiteOn LNE100TX (tulip driver) IRQ 18
    Dev 13: S3 Inc. ViRGE/DX (rev 1) (4MB cheapie, no IRQ)
    Dev 15: Adaptec 2940 Ultra (AIC-7871) IRQ 16
    Dev 19: HPT66, IRQ 18

I used to be unstable with crashes every few days, but the QQ beta-1
BIOS made the crashes go away, and now I can upgrade/install any other
software I want.
