This seems to explain the problems http://www.au-ja.de/review-kt133a-1-en.html there are bugs in the southbridge & apparently the northbridge, I think but am not sure they are triggered only in 133MHz FSB operation. I got burned by this in December with Asus A7V's, which ended up being replaced by PIII/i815 mobos. At the time I saw only good press about KT133, though I didn't have very much time to dig around for problem reports on the net.
