Set the port type for a specified interface. The legal val-
ues for port type are 1 (BSS mode) and 3 (ad-hoc) mode. In
ad-hoc mode, the station can communicate directly with any
other stations within direct radio range (provided that they
are also operating in ad-hoc mode). In BSS mode, hosts must
associate with a service set controlled by an access point,
which relays traffic between end stations. The default set-
ting is 3 (ad-hoc mode).
dari pengalaman sepanjang pembuatan MyBSD, hampir tidak ada kendala
berarti (ada sich dan nunggu argumen sampai 2 hari dari milis terkait) dgn
hasil tsb dan ada di RFC 802.11b yg 11 MBps (yg 54 MBps belum keluar ya ?)
dan dicoba 2 mesin berbeda di coba dgn mode adhoc no ibss baik antar bsd
(freebsd picobsd netbsd openbsd mybsd microbsd) maupun bsd dan linux
(slackware lrp dan modified lrp)
yg belum di coba bsd dan AP ...... boleh pinjem AP nya mas ? ... heheheh
ya ya ya tahu tahu ini di coba di linux, tapi dgn logika yg sama kan?
