Hi, the obvious is consult your CentOS for their tools, since your question is 
absolutely off-topic here. If may still try to compile kernel in vanilla way, 
please consult Arch Wiki [0] or Gentoo Handbook [1] and dracut documentation 
[2] on how to generate initramfs for your custom kernel.
