Oooooooh!
Microsoft announces their development of 10-year old technology.
I hear the M$ is feverishly working on closing the Punch-card gap.

Only if you are so impatient that you can't wait a few weeks for the
distributions to catch up. And only if you really want to compile the
kernel for some reason. As has already been stated, you can get the 2.4
rpms pre-compiled and ready to install. He even says this at the top
of the page:
"While some of you may wish to just RPM it, many users may wish to just
compile and setup an optimal kernel for their system."
Your point?

Subject: New way to learn about Open Source?
Date: Fri, 26 Jan 2001 23:38:51 GMT
I've spent the last couple of years building well-known e-commerce
sites using Open Source code. Turns out that I spent a fair amount of
time teaching Open Source technologies (Apache, Linux, MySQL, Perl,
etc.) to jr. programmers. I found that the most effective way to impart
knowledge was the so-called Socratic method of question/answer. I got
so tired of going through the question/answer ritual with each new
engineer, that I put together a website www.codecity.com to do the job
for me. Now, it's taken on a life of it's own and I thought I would
tell this group about it as you may find it useful too. If you could
provide some feedback and maybe even submit a quiz or two through the
site, it would be highly appreciated.
Thankyou,
Jeff C.

This is all well and good for the double punches, which is actually was
not my reference. My reference was the arbitration behind whos votes
got actually counted and whos did not, re: absentee.

Sorry, but IPv6 is really only been finalized as a standard for a few years,
in fact, the original RFC 1883 is dated December, 1995, but was not well
supported by anyone. The superceding specificaiton, RFC 2460 is dated
December, 1998 and appears to be gaining a lot of ground.
Why do you exagerate so much?
I don't think anyone has fully implemented IPv6 yet, though I could be
wrong.

so just b/c all the windows look the same in Windows means a person can
be more productive than when using Xwindows and Linux??
Considering the concept is the same for Xwindows and MS Windows a
beginning user will have the same experience.

more corrupt Demoncrook Florida Supreme Starchamber dictat^H^H^H^H^^H^Hjustices.

Read the book "Votescam" by James and Kenneth Collier (Copyright 1992).
Nearly everything that happened in Florida last November was merely
a repeat of typical Demoncrook party election tactics.
Did you notice that the Demoncrooks were "complaining" that the majority
of these tamper-friendly punch-card ballots were in Demoncrook counties.
That was BY DESIGN....by the party which controls those counties...Demoncrooks.
Save America. Shoot a goddamned demoncrook.

Not in any official document.
It was a remark made by Lincoln, by the President who takes 2nd place in the
"how many ways can we violate the Constitution" contest. It was part of
the Gettysburg Address, the ceremony, about a year after the Battle, in
which the military cemetary was made official.
