Halo rekan2, Seperti kita ketahui bbrp minggu lalu Microsoft Indonesia membuka lowongan besar2 di koran. Salah satunya adalah posisi Platform Evangelist yang bertugas untuk menjadi mesin propaganda MS.
Berikut ini ada kejadian menarik dimana salah seorang direktur MS menelpon Bp. Frans Thamura untuk menjadi evangelist MS, tapi beliau menolak. http://www.jroller.com/page/fthamura/20050317#using_linux_sin_how_about Using Linux = Sin? how about using Java Today, I did a call with one of Microsoft Indonesia Director, he wanted me to join Microsoft to become Platform Evangelist. I rejected it, because I said I own company, and all of the services is not related to Windows, esp .NET. He said, may be there is another guy from linux side that think using Linux is a sin. This is silly prequsition right. How can using Linux is a sin? So, all the linux guy will be go to hell one day? and how about us that using Java? Go to another hell? Because there was an event in my country, and our IT Ministery said that Bill Gates is a good man and will be go to heaven. So, do you know if Bill Gates always kill his partner such as Symantec, AccPac, that create a software that run on Windows only is a very good job. Will our God hijacked by Bill Gates and he will become our new God? and all Microsoft employee will become his angel? and I think, the Heaven will be renamed to Windows or a "New Widow"?
