Postfix uses off_t to manipulate file offsets. Only on toy operating
systems this is still implemented as a 32-bit type (like only

Kalo emang Linux udah memenuhi kebutuhan buat saya masa saya jadi
harus tidak pake Linux cuma gara2 menurut claim satu org itu "toy OS"
atau "ketinggalan jaman".
Kalo memang butuh support utk 32-bit user ID ya monggo pake yg
support. Saya bisa pake LDAP or MySQL jadi dikasih satu aja user ID
udah cukup kali utk most cases. 21st century juga memberi banyak
Jadi ada cases dimana 16bit users id tidak cukup? ;)
options utk punya virtual users. Use the right tool for the job aja
kali ya.
Jadi kalau support mailbox file >2GB sebaiknya pakai selain linux ;-p
Saya (masih) punya banyak respect utk Wietse dan kebebasannya utk
berpendapat, tapi saya tidak mendewakan org lain, saya (dan anda
sekalian) juga bisa research dan analisa sendiri sehingga bisa punya
pendapat sendiri, saya rasa kita tidak perlu ikut2an pendapat org,
walaupun nantinya kalo memang pendapat anda sama dg Wietse ya nggak
papa juga :-)

It is not just applications, but also non-system libraries. Things
can break when code built for "large" file support is mixed with
code built for "small" file support. For example, when one routine
calls another, the caller sending 64-bit offsets while the called
function expects to receive 32-bit offsets, the remaining 32 bits
may be seen as the next function call argument and everything gets
out of whack.
