Gini, Redhat tetap komitmen terhadap Opensource, makanya seluruh sourcecode nya Redhat EL bisa di download. Masalahnya waktu dia bikin Binarinya RHEL, dia kompile dari source code yg GPL + ada merek2 dagang Redhat di dalamnya. Waktu jualnya bundle sama Support (termasuk update) di dalamnya. Jadi kalau kita memakai setelah ngak langganan lagi walaupun kita ngak butuh support dan updatenya kita tetap melanggar penggunaan merek2 dagang yang ada di binari itu, bukan melanggar pemakaian source code gplnya.
