"The Apache License, like most other permissive licenses, does not require modified versions of the software to be distributed using the same license (in contrast to copyleft licenses). In every licensed file, any original copyright, patent, trademark, and attribution notices in redistributed code must be preserved (excluding notices that do not pertain to any part of the derivative works); and, in every licensed file changed, a notification must be added stating that changes have been made to that file" Dengan adanya Apache license ini, Office Kita bisa jadi legal. Lalu bagaimana Apache License terhadap GPL? http://www.apache.org/licenses/GPL-compatibility.html Bahkan Google-pun memilih Apache License untuk userspace di Android mereka: http://arstechnica.com/old/content/2007/11/why-google-chose-the-apache-software-license-over-gplv2.ars Kepada seluruh aktivis, saya sarankan untuk memahami masalah lisensi ini, terutama jika sering menyorot (baca: menghujat) sofware bajakan. 1) http://apache.org/foundation/how-it-works.html -- Ahmad Sofyan -- Berhenti langganan: [email protected] Arsip dan info: http://linux.or.id/milis
