It would randomly segfault during kernel and egcs compiles (I have run ALOT of larger compiles lately of egcs with random segfaults). Reverting back to earlier kernels worked fine, though, so I stuck with one of the earlier ones and avoid 2.2.9/10 until things work out a bit more... C
