Hello.,
Well, I have recently aquired a Digital Systems AlphaStation 200 and am
trying to install Redhat 6.0/alpha on it... I can access the startup bios
(or whatever it is called) via serial console, and start the system booting
from the RH boot disk.. Then I get nothing more. It doesn't prompt me for
the Ramdisk, it just sits there.. There is no video card installed on this
machine, which leads me to wonder if Redhat will install via serial console
or not.. Does anyone have any experience with this?
As you can probably tell I'm really new to this platform, infact I've
never used one before, so I don't know the terminology, or the features,
etc, of these machines.. any help or advice on things to read online would
be great!
