I hate to be off topic all, but I need some help. I'm starting to look
at developing
operating systems, and low level programs ( sort of like device drivers,
etc. ) and
I am sort of in need of books on :

        Data Structures in C
Operating Systems ( programming and creating )
        Processes, priorities, multitasking, etc.
        Writing filesystems, device drivers, etc.
        Multithreading, etc

Basically, looking for books on the skills needed to write o/s's. If
anyone has any
textbooks, etc that are post 1989 preferably ( and are on C, not C ++ ),
please let me
know... Maybe you finally have a chance to sell ( or give ) those books
that are
taking up space in your cellar or closet to some one who can use them
**grin**
I would appreciate any help that can be offered..... Thanks all...

Jeremy

(if you look below, that's what I need the books for. I'm going to
start a small time
research and development company that works with computers and
operating systems ( mainly Unix variants ) and hardware ( YAY Alpha ! ).
  )
