Hello,
for years now I've been using Purify on Sun machines. Great product.
It is also available on a few other
platforms, and also for NT x86 (awful product there). On other Unix
platforms, I have been using another
product, not quite as good but does the job, called SmartHeap, for which
I bought source code some years
back.

I've been told by the SmartHeap people that "a few" of their customers
compiled it under Linux (x86) but not
Linux-alpha. I certainly couldn't compile it.

My question is, does anybody out there know of a product with similar
capabilities (memory error detection,
leak detection, etc.) which somehow could be gotten to work on
Linux-alpha?

Many thanks.

Dan
